Punjabi language translation and interpreting service
Punjabi is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by inhabitants of the historical Punjab region (now split between India and Pakistan) and their diasporas. Speakers include adherents of the religions of Islam, Sikhism, and Hinduism. By a conservative classification of its member dialects (excluding Siraiki), it has over 90 million native speakers, which makes it the 11th most widely spoken language in the world.
In Pakistan, Punjabi is written using the Shahmukhi alphabet, based on the Perso-Arabic script; in India, it is written using the Gurmukhi alphabet, based on the Indic scripts.
